We have two categories of membership. ASSOCIATE membership (£5) for under 18’s and FULL membership of £20. The membership fee is for a maximum of 2 years and a minimum of 18 months from the date you join. Membership expires on 31st March of each year.
To join we need you to complete a membership application form. You can find this on our website. You will also need to email us a passport style photo (.jpeg) for your membership ID card. We would prefer you to pay directly into our bank account Sort Code: 40-34-33 Account: 51474537 but we do accept checks (reluctantly).
We now have an “online membership application”. Before using it, please make sure you have a passport style photo (a headshot on a plain background) as a .jpg file available on the PC or tablet you are using. You will also need you credit or debit card details.

Any membership data that you send us is held on a secure database and will only be used for group administrative purposes. We will not share your data with any other organisation. You may receive emails from us regarding your membership, training courses, meetings and events. You may opt out of receiving these email communications at any time. You may also email the membership secretary to cancel your membership at any time.
We communicate with each other in a variety of ways. Most groups organise monthly pub meet-ups. We also have dedicated “Whats App” groups and can utilise Skype or Zoom for virtual meetings.
When we are out on a “call” we sometimes use Viewranger and Zello Works as well as mobile phones and VHF radio. Training is given where required.
